Food & Beverage Attendant

Description

Prepare work stations and assist in all kitchen activities to ensure that guests receive high quality food items in a timely manner.

Stock chef work stations with adequate supplies of food; potatoes, eggs, flour, sugar, etc. and other materials and equipment according to established standards and procedures. Return to and store unused items in appropriate areas. Minimize waste.

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. 

May assist cooks and stewards during peak activity periods.

Maintain clean, neat, and well-organized work areas, including but not limited to pantries, store areas, reach-ins, walk-ins and counters. Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to management.

Advise supervisor of low inventory items.

Perform receiving and inventory duties as assigned.

Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

-  High school diploma or equivalent

-  Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

-  Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends

-  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-  Attention to detail and ability to multitask

-  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
