Set against the backdrop of sweeping Door County views, The Carrington offers a refined yet relaxed dining experience at the north end of the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor. With award-winning cuisine, a full bar, and a loyal mix of resort guests and local diners, we pride ourselves on outstanding service in an upscale casual setting.

We are currently seeking a part-time Food Runner to join our front-of-house team and help us deliver smooth, seamless service to every table.

Position Overview:

As a Food Runner, you’ll be the vital link between our kitchen and dining room — ensuring that each dish reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Your attention to detail and polished professionalism will enhance the overall guest experience, especially during peak periods and with larger parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders efficiently and with care, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth timing and coordination
• Describe dishes knowledgeably and answer basic questions about menu items
• Assist in clearing dishes between courses or after meals when needed
• Provide general support to the service team during busy shifts
• Maintain awareness of guest needs and respond with attentiveness and courtesy

Compensation: $15/hour plus tips

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• A calm, professional demeanor under pressure
• Able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
• Must be able to communicate clearly in the predominant language(s) of our guests
