Food Service Worker - Food Service - Evenings-Weekends Required

Whether building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, working back of the house to prepare patient meals on the tray line, or working the Food Cart, the Food Service Worker, cultivates good health, healing and comfort while ensuring a welcoming environment day after day. Serve as a valued member of the team and provide essential support and superior customer service to our patients and their families. Maintain a culture of compassion, caring and safety to help ensure a positive experience for every patient, every time. Gain a rewarding experience in working in various capacities including preparing meals daily and serving meals to patients directly.

This is a part-time position at NYP Westchester Hospital with evening shift hours of 4:00pm - 8:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience with food handling and prior experience in an institutional setting preferred.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma

• Ability to interact with patients and follow up with tray line set up and production.

• Ability to follow oral and written instruction and established procedures.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
