Koinonia Family Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Foster Care Visitation Monitor to supervise visits between foster children and their birth families in Stockton and surrounding San Joaquin County communities.
This position is ideal for someone who lives in or near Stockton and wants meaningful, flexible, part-time work. Most visits take place at a county visitation center, with occasional travel to Koinonia’s Modesto office. A few hours of approved remote work may also be completed each week for supervision, case documentation, required training, and related duties.

This is a part-time position with approximately 6-10 hours per week starting out with the potential for more hours as more youth are placed in our program. Hours will vary based on assigned clients and will be scheduled as needed, typically during regular business hours.

Qualified candidates must complete a criminal background clearance through the California Department of Justice and FBI to ensure eligibility for employment, as well as a pre-employment physical and TB test.
This position requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation as driving is an essential job function. Foster Care Visitation Monitors are responsible for tasks such as visiting client homes, transporting youth, engaging with community partners, often in locations not easily accessible by alternative transportation methods. The nature of these responsibilities necessitates the ability to drive to ensure timely, reliable, confidential and effective support for the youth and families we serve.
