Front Desk Associate - Part Time

Summary:

River Valley Power & Sport - Marine is looking for a Part-Time Front Desk Associate to join one of the Top 20 Marine Dealers in North America. This position can lead to many growth opportunities within the company, including a full-time position in customer service or marketing. In addition, opportunities to work at the company Marina may be available in the Fall months. Students who are looking to gain professional experience during the school year are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: 

Tuesdays 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Hours Flexible)

Thursdays 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Hours Flexible)

Saturdays 8:30am - 3:00pm (Required)

*** Able to pickup additional hours if available.

Compensation:
$17 - $20/per hour, starting wage is dependent on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest level of customer support by answering inbound phone calls and emails


• Greeting, welcoming and navigating visitors to the appropriate person/department


• Assist with the end of day process; such as counting the till, running reports, filling out bank deposit slips


• Assisting with daily opening and closing tasks such as making coffee or popcorn, wiping down counters, doors, windows, unlocking or locking doors


• Maintain the phone voice mailbox and phone list


• Follow up with any missed calls or voicemails

Qualifications and Skills:

• Effective communication to ensure clear responses and expectations


• Ability to problem-solve and elevate customer tension when problems arise


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Work in a team-based environment to achieve common goals


• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time


• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
