Job Description - Front Desk at Pure Barre

Front Desk Team Member

Compensation: $17.85/hour
Location: Pure Barre Brentwood and Santa Monica

As a Front Desk Team Member at Pure Barre, you’ll be the welcoming face of our studio—greeting clients, supporting instructors, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience from check-in to check-out. You'll play a key role in studio operations, sales, and community building, all while helping to maintain a clean and inspiring environment.

If you're interested in becoming a Pure Barre Instructor, this role is the perfect first step. Many of our teachers began their journey at the front desk!

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, learn names, and check them into class

Introduce new clients to instructors and make sure they feel supported and comfortable

Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, follow-ups, and closing (in-person, phone, and text)

Build meaningful client relationships to encourage retention and community

Sell memberships and promote studio offerings

Accurately process transactions and maintain POS system

Assist with capturing content and photos for social media

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting studio, including the lobby, retail space, and restrooms

Support teachers and studio management in daily operations

Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Outgoing, approachable, and customer-focused personality

Ability to build strong, positive relationships with clients and teammates

Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet membership and retail goals

Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable

Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software (ClubReady experience a plus)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, even under pressure

Proficient in computer and mobile systems

Ability to work at 9:30am classes during the week, and Saturday and Sunday mornings
