You Must Have:

  •  Strong technical skills and experience using a Mac computer 

  •  Holds a current CA Cosmetology License, or is actively enrolled in an accredited beauty school (will be assisting with washes and blow drying)

  • The ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Sunday) 

  • A passion for the beauty/cosmetology industry and making people feel beautiful

  •  Experience with Booker scheduling software is a plus 

 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Participation in maintaining a professional, fun, and respectful salon environment 

  • Managing a clean and tidy workplace 

  • Actively participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends 

  • Support stylists by shampooing guests and preparing them for their services, ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience 

  • Serve as a Blo brand ambassador, creating an exceptional first and last impression for every guest 

  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and tactful demeanor—even in high-pressure situations—and consistently elevate the guest experience 

  • Opportunity for growth: potential to be cross-trained in additional services such as makeup application, or promoted to stylist or leadership roles

Compensation: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
