SUPERVISOR:  Frontend/Office Manager

PAY RANGE: $13.00-$18.00

FSLA Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: A Front-End Supervisor shall maintain outstanding customer service. The Front-End Assistant Supervisor is responsible for the efficient accomplishment of customer satisfaction throughout the store, with an emphasis on the front end.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of the front end to include cleanliness, friendliness, cart availability, etc.
• Responsible for approval of all voids and refunds. 
• Responsible for the proper operation of the Customer Care Office to include all services available.
• Responsible for maintaining a fully trained staff for the Customer Care Office and the check stand operation.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system. 
• Ability to communicate with associates and customers. 
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation. 
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store. 
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds. 
• Ability to work varied hours or days as business dictates. 
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floors, stocks area, and register area. 
• Ability to climb ladders. 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform other duties and projects as required by management

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal retail grocery store environment.
