Graphic Design Specialist

The Graphic Design Specialist supports THE rAVe Agency’s creative, marketing, and sales teams by producing and assisting with a variety of design and multimedia projects, including  internal and client campaigns. This role participates in creative meetings to provide design input, assists with the creation and preparation of visual materials, and collaborates with the team to support the design and functionality of THE rAVe Agency’s virtual event platform.  The ideal candidate is adaptable, detailed oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality visual design.

Essential Functions

• Design and produce visual materials for THE rAVe Agency and client brand initiatives, including marketing campaigns, and product launches across multiple mediums (web, print, email, social media, motion graphics, video, etc.)


• Complete video editing tasks for various projects, as assigned 


• Assist in designing and completing emails for various campaigns and client campaigns/projects


• Develop and maintain social media graphic templates to ensure consistent branding and efficient content production for the agency and its clients


• Complete assigned design tasks and revisions in a fast-paced production environment, meeting deadlines and project priorities. 


• Apply and maintain brand guidelines and design specifications on all deliverables.


• Organize and maintain digital design files and assets for efficient workflow and reuse.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in graphic design, video editing, or multimedia production


• Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Keynote, and Powerpoint.


• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere


• Experience with front-end HTML editing software (HubSpot, Stripo, or similar platforms.)


• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design


• 1-3 years of hands on experience in graphic design, video editing, or multimedia production


• Copywriting experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• HTML/CSS understanding for front-end design styling


• Ability to create different graphic assets


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Ability to prioritize multiple design tasks and complete them accurately within established deadlines 


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently apply and uphold brand standards.


• Ability to take design feedback and incorporate it quickly


• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiastic attitude


• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, receive project feedback, and implement revisions accurately and efficiently


• Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams


• Strong understanding of design principles and best practices

Physical Demands

• Employees must be able to spend 8+ hours per day operating a computer to complete work.

Work Environment

Work will be performed in person at our office in Chapel Hill, NC, with a remote work option two days a week. The employee must reside in North Carolina. You are expected to work at least 20 hours a week on the agreed-upon schedule.
