Responsibilities
Greet customers in friendly and professional manner as they enter service department.
Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; record amount received.
Compute customer bills, make change and issue receipts to customers; reconcile cash drawer daily.
Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
Work with department managers to stay on top of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price.
Answer customer questions about service performed or products purchased or refer them to someone who can.
Handle customer complaints with integrity and patience and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
