What You'll Do:
Cook and prep food with consistency and care
Deliver excellent customer service with a smile
Take and fulfill orders quickly and accurately
Keep the kitchen and service area clean and organized
Work as a team and stay productive when working independently
Upsell menu items and specials to guests
Follow all safety and food handling procedures
What We're Looking For:

Team player who can also work independently
Dependable and punctual
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Grill or kitchen experience a plus, but not required

About Us
Sooner Bowling Center recently celebrated its 40th anniversary of serving the Norman and surrounding communities. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include event hosting, catering, an escape room, and a patio events area. We take pride in being the go-to destination for gatherings and community events, and we look forward to continuing to provide a fun place for our guests for many more years to come.
FAMILY
We are a 24 lane community bowling center in Norman, Oklahoma. We’ve been owned by the same family since 1984 and are still family operated. Our family is active in the bowling industry at the local, state and national level. Many of our bowlers are like family and have been bowling with us for over 30 years. We are active in the community and love being a family friendly facility. When you’re with us, we want to treat you like family.
FACILITY
We feature 24 synthetic lanes, wood approaches and AMF 82-70 pinsetters. Our occupancy is over 400 and we offer a nice, wide concourse area perfect for large groups, socializing and fundraisers.
We have a full service food operation, The Spare Time Grill which serves delicious food and catering and refreshing cold beverages. Our private meeting room seats 50 comfortably seated and a few more cocktail table style. We have wheelchair ramps to facilitate an easy transition to the bowlers’ area and the approach.
Our newly updated arcade offers re-chargeable game cards, pool tables and video games that are fun for everyone. For your convenience while you are in our care we have complimentary WiFi facility wide.
Sooner BOWLING Center
We support both the competitive and recreational sides of bowling. We are uniquely positioned to support USBC sanctioned bowling leagues, tournaments and youth events. Our exceptional staff understands the competitive sport aspect of bowling and we cater to our league bowlers. Many are league bowlers themselves. For your bowling equipment needs we have an on-site Pro Shop.
We also believe that bowling is a great recreational activity and is a “lifetime sport”. That means if we can expose young school children to bowling and they learn how to bowl, they may remember that great bowling experience through their life and come back to our sport at various times.
We love being the activity you choose to do with your friends, family, kids and grandparents! We just hope that through the sport or recreation of bowling we are bringing people together to enjoy some special and great experiences!
