Job Summary

The Grocery Team Member reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to the assistant store managers and shift leaders. This position is responsible for duties such as stocking, cleaning and monitoring perishables. The Grocery Team Member provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent daily store conditions.

Responsibilities

Consistently meets or exceeds set standards involving the handling, stocking, and the maintaining of grocery, frozen, dairy, smoked meat, and all perishable products

Accurately handle cash register operations

Stocks product on platforms, shelving, peg hooks and in baskets or refrigerated cases as needed

Handles power and non-powered equipment and hand tools to move stock as needed after properly trained

Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner

How to impress:

Attempt to keep an OPEN availability (including weekends)

Stop by the store and introduce yourself to the Store Manager

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age

High School degree or equivalent

Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required

Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members

Work both independently and with a team

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Maintain regular and prompt attendance

Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

Compensation: $12.15 per hour
