Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is located on 160 acres in northern Cherokee County and is home to around 40 young men in foster care.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Crewmember to assist with maintaining the landscape of GVBR, including but not limited to; weed eating and trimming, mowing, pond maintenance, tree removal, fence repair. Assists Facilities Director in administration and function of GVBR facilities as needed. Assist Facilities Director in functions related to GVBR Facilities and assist with other duties as assigned.

This is a part-time position up to 25 hours per week. This position pays $15/hr and includes the opportunity to participate in GVF's 401k with employer match.

Requirements

Grounds Maintenance Crewmember will need to have:

• A Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• One or more year of experience in general facilities operations. Including, but not limited to: in general maintenance and repair, lawn care experience.
• Be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of GVF. 
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screen, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable by GVF insurance carrier (minimum age 21).
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift overhead, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to remain balanced to: stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, and reach down, forward and overhead repetitively. Ability to push/pull lawn maintenance equipment.
