Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Schedule: Flexible Hours (Weather Dependent)

Position Summary:

Lucas Oil Speedway is seeking a dependable and motivated Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance and safety of our campus/facility during the racing season. This is a part-time, seasonal position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping landscapes clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mow grass and trim edges using lawn mowers and weed eaters.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, and      spectator zones.
• Assist with general grounds upkeep and event preparation as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Grounds Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines.

• Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate landscaping equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage based on      experience.
• Seasonal position with flexible      part-time hours.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Tolerance for outdoor work in hot, humid, or rainy conditions.
