Job Description - Guest Experience Coordinator

Description

With an enthusiastic smile and engaged hospitality, the Experience Coordinator sets the stage for an exceptional experience with every guest that comes through our door. The Experience Coordinator will engage in friendly conversation when seating guests and introducing their Guest Advisor. The Experience Coordinator manages the restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations and always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Finally, the Experience Coordinator ensures various guest touch points are regularly cleaned and sanitized.

  • Primary goal is to provide our guests with a great experience!
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant and engage them in conversation to determine seat optimization.
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
  • Escort guests to dining/bar area(s)
  • Provide menus, makes food recommendations/pairings, and introduces front of house team that will be assisting them by name.
  • Maintain a clean reception area.
  • Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
  • Assists wait staff as needed.
  • Provides appreciation to guests upon their departure & follows up on any concerns or questions that arise.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in Guest service or Restaurant environment preferred
  • TiPS certification preferred
  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • Experience in managing reservations.
  • Demonstrable guest-service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.
  • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.
