Guest Services Representative (Part-Time)

About the Position

We are looking for upbeat and dedicated individuals to help us establish a world-class, customer-centric environment for all Golden State Warriors games and Chase Center concerts and events. As a Guest Services Representative, you will help provide unforgettable experiences to our guests by scanning tickets, assisting guests to their seat within the arena, supporting vertical transportation via elevators and more!

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA. This is a unionized position with IATSE B-18 as a Chase Center employee.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with the scanning and/or collection of tickets upon ingress while ensuring to check for authenticity and proper date


• Comply with Chase Center standards in guest, accessible and freight elevators


• Ensure the elevator remains clean of trash and report any issues to maintenance


• Serve as a source of information and FAQs for Chase Center guests; provide proactive solutions


• Keep aisles clear of guests and obstructions and observe assigned sections for any signs of disturbance


• Keep assigned section as clean as possible by clearing trash from walkway or portal and alerting maintenance of any spills


• Open and close doors safely while keeping a smooth flow of traffic in and out of the elevator


• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for ticketing issues as they occur


• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Excellent and engaging interpersonal skills


• High energy, strong detail orientation and superior work ethic


• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, including during emergencies


• Basic knowledge of technology including ticket scanners, tablets, time clocks, etc.


• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with others


• Ability to adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards as defined by Chase Center management


• Reliable form of transportation

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.


• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time


• Note: This position may/will require you to sit or stand in an enclosed space and travel in upper and lower levels multiple times during your shift

Time Commitment

• Work at least 60% of events through the year including Golden State Warriors and Valkyries home games, Chase Center Concerts, and auxiliary events.


• Non-traditional hours according to the Golden State Warriors and Valkyries home game schedule and Chase Center concerts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)


• Typical game night shifts are 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm


• Typical concert shifts are approximately 5+ hours in length


• Work schedules will vary from week to week along with scheduled events. Part-time Team Members will not be scheduled for every event as scheduling is based on the needs of the department.

Compensation

• $22.66 per hour
