Gym - Personal Trainer / Front Office $15 base plus commissions

Are you interested in a career in health and fitness?  Anytime Fitness is looking to add motivated fitness professionals to our growing team in Salem, VA.  This position could possibly be part-time (30 hours), but preferably upwards of 35 hours or full-time.

Compensation will be hourly + commission, and both will increase as certain milestones are met

Employee will be responsible for:

• Learning and following all club policies and procedures


• Giving club tours to prospective members


• Signing up and on-boarding new members


• Making calls to prospective members


• Conducting fitness consultations


• Conducting safe, appropriate, and effective one-on-one personal training sessions


• Providing exceptional customer service to gym members, clients, and guests


• Assisting with additional club responsibilities as needed such as organizing and cleaning


• Maintaining hours of availability provided upon being hired


• Working independently with minimal supervision


• Having a passion for health, fitness, and helping individuals meet their goals


• Possessing strong verbal communication skills

Requirements:

• Nationally recognized PT or Group Exercise Certificate (ex. ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM, etc.) or in the process of obtaining one


• Current CPR certification or in the process of obtaining one


• Sales experience preferred


• Be comfortable with approaching anyone in the gym to offer tips or to demonstrate exercises
