We are looking for a hair stylist who has:
- A current and valid cosmetology license for NJ
- Exceptional communication skills and a mindset geared toward teamwork and problem-solving.
- Ability to perform blowouts at a sustained, fast pace and openness to receiving feedback and coaching.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering unparalleled customer service.
- Proficiency in multitasking and maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.
- Holds a valid Cosmetology license or certificate for the state of employment.
- Displays integrity, trustworthiness, motivation, and reliability.
- Must be comfortable using hot tools and exposure to hair products, with limited chemical exposure to Barbicide.
- Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends at any Drybar South Jersey location.
Hey cosmetology students!! We also accept applications from those attending cosmetology school (must have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist).
- Greet and ensure clients experience exceptional service from arrival to departure in line with Drybar’s high standards.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their hair needs and expectations.
- Shampoo, blow dry, and style clients’ hair, adhering to Drybar’s Anatomy of the Blowout.
- Deliver comprehensive client education on products and tools, recommending appropriate products and memberships.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, including cleaning, sweeping, inventory management, dishwashing, and restocking product shelves.
- Consistently provide punctual, prepared, and exceptional service during scheduled shifts.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Attend mandatory shop meetings and embody Drybar’s 10 Core Values.
- Undertake other duties and projects that as assigned.

Pay: $20.61 - $25.66 per hour
