Job Description - Hands + Rose Assistant Manager

This position will assist the Hands + Rose Manager in managing and overseeing the Hands + Rose coffee shop at UPPERROOM. Our Hands + Rose Assistant Manager will help bring the UPPERROOM experience to life by assisting the H+R Manager in developing and maintaining a smooth, efficient & profitable operation of the shop, representing Christ through exceptional customer service, bringing solutions to the table for inventory, volunteer recruiting, and scheduling as well as maintaining quality standards at the shop! This role requires someone with leadership skills, a positive attitude, servant heart and a love for coffee culture & people.

Part Time (25-30 hrs per week) including Sundays

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in coffee shop management or a related occupation. An equivalent combination of education and experience is sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job as listed above.ce

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Keep coffee shop running in excellence

Keep coffee shop making a healthy profit

Serve customers and guests with kindness & humility

Maintain professional attitude and standards

Be flexible and adaptable with UPPERROOM requests

Be capable of coordinating multiple tasks at once, adjusting to the changing priorities, meeting deadlines and scheduling in a growing church environment

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and take initiative
