Job Description - Haus'keeping (Housekeeping) Supervisor

Description

Gravity Haus is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our rooms are beautifully maintained and that each guest experience reflects our high standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are met or exceeded.
  • Assign daily tasks and room boards based on arrivals, departures, VIPs, and special requests.
  • Support and train team members to uphold service excellence, efficiency, and safety.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and track expenses for housekeeping-related items including linens, chemicals, and minibar products.
  • Utilize ALICE or similar software to track and respond to guest housekeeping needs in real time.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Desk to prioritize early arrivals, guest requests, and VIPs.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and housekeeping tools.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and developing talent within the housekeeping department.
  • Proactively adjust staffing based on occupancy and business needs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead by example as a Gravity Haus ambassador, embracing and promoting our brand values and mission.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or hotel operations preferred; supervisory experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and coach a diverse team.
  • Organized, reliable, and solutions-driven with high attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using hospitality operations software.
  • Enthusiastic about hospitality and guest experience.
  • Aligned with Gravity Haus values and mission to build a conscious, connected community.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable pushing carts and handling cleaning equipment.
