Head Volleyball Coach Middle School

Trinity Academy is seeking a
dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Middle School Girls Head Volleyball
Coach. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coaching and developing
young athletes, as well as a commitment to fostering a positive team culture
and promoting sportsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to
contribute to the athletic program of Trinity Academy and help student-athletes
grow both on and off the court.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the middle school volleyball
  program, including practices, games, and off season development.
  
• Instill a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and
  Christ-centered leadership among student-athletes.
  
• Develop and implement effective training programs
  focused on skill development.
  
• Oversee game strategy, and in-game decision-making to
  maximize team performance.
  
• Mentor and develop assistant coaches, ensuring
  alignment with program values and goals.
  
• Engage with the broader Trinity Academy community,
  including K-12 students, parents, and faculty, to foster school spirit and
  support for the volleyball program.
  
• Engage with Junior Knights volleyball programs to
  ensure consistency in skills development in preparation for middle school
  
• Organize and run summer camps, clinics, and off season
  training opportunities.
  
• Ensure compliance with KSHSAA regulations and Trinity
  Academy’s athletic policies.
  

Requirements

• Must be a Christian with a strong personal faith and
  a commitment to integrating biblical principles into coaching.
  
• Previous coaching experience in volleyball at the
  high school, middle school or club level.
  
• Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and
  strategies.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with
  the ability to effectively interact with players, parents, and colleagues.
  
• Passion for working with young athletes and helping
  them reach their full potential.
  
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team
  culture.
  
• Willingness to comply with all school and athletic
  department policies and regulations.
