Health and Beauty Associate

Job Overview:
At Farmer Joe's, we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Health and Beauty Associate to join our team! In this role, you will provide excellent service, share your product knowledge, and help customers find the health, wellness, and beauty products they need to live their best lives. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining product displays, keeping the department stocked, and delivering top-notch service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in selecting health, beauty, and wellness products.
• Provide advice on product selection based on customer needs.
• Ensure the health and beauty section is well-organized, clean, and fully stocked.
• Set up attractive displays that highlight key products and promotions.
• Keep track of inventory and assist with restocking as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest health and beauty trends, products, and best practices.
• Assist with store merchandising, pricing, and labeling.
• Ensure all products are stored and displayed according to health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the health and beauty industry.
• A passion for wellness, beauty, and helping others feel their best.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health, wellness, and beauty products is a plus!
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 30 lbs with ease
• Hearing: Able to hear and respond effectively to instructions and customer needs.
• Flexibility/Mobility: Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly in a busy environment.
• Environmental Tolerance: Comfortable working in cooler temperatures and with cleaning agents.
• Allergy Tolerance: Able to handle a variety of fresh ingredients without adverse reactions.
• Step-Stool/Ladder Use: Confidently use step-stools and ladders as needed.
• Physical Balance: Maintain stability while handling tasks with care.
• Communication: Clear and effective in conveying instructions and working with the team.
• Reaching: Capable of reaching below waist, at waist, and overhead to access and manage products and equipment.
