How you will make an impact: 

As a Cook at Wesley Willows, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods in accordance with planned menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards. Duties include operating kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting with food storage and inventory, and supporting special functions. You will work collaboratively with the dining services team to ensure quality service, adapt to changing needs, and uphold a safe, efficient, and customer-focused kitchen environment. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Schedule:  The schedule for this role is part-time with a schedule of 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Days may vary, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

What you will need: 

• High school graduate or equivalent (required).
• Must be 18 years of age to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required).
• 2 years of institutional cooking in long-term care or assisted living (required).
• Institutional cooking, along with a fine dining experience, is preferred.
