Key Responsibilities of a Healthcare Dietary Aide:

• Help residents understand their menu selections in compliance with their dietary requirements/restrictions
• Collaborate with culinary team and healthcare staff to select alternate menu items for residents with food allergies/sensitivities while also considering religious or cultural preferences
• Accurately plate and deliver food trays to the healthcare residents and assist as needed
• Serve meals in the dining room and assist with delivery of food carts to all areas of the Community
• Bus, clean, and set up dining room or stations as necessary
• Comply with ALL regulatory agency standards
• Comply with all HIPPA policies

Equal Opportunity Employer 

•  High School Diploma or GED, 18 years of age
• Minimum one year of serving experience in a restaurant or healthcare setting (healthcare serving experience preferred) (serve safe certification preferred)
• Comfortable with using tablets or touchscreen system while serving or delivering food
• Comfortable with using and serving modified diets such as puree, mechanical soft, etc.
•  Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Able to stand for the entire shift and enable to lift up to 50 lbs.
