Part-Time Front End Loader Operator – Boyer Gap Quarry

Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator with a wealth of knowledge, looking to stay active and contribute your expertise? Boyer Gap Quarry, located at Quartzsite, AZ 85345 (La Paz County), is seeking a part-time Front End Loader Operator to join our team!

We're looking for an individual with cardinal knowledge who would appreciate a flexible schedule, working 2 to 3 days a week for 2 to 4 hours a day. Your primary focus will be Load Out, ensuring efficient and safe material handling. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As an Operator 02, your responsibilities will include:

Equipment Operation (Proficient and Expanding Skills)

• Proficiently operating our Front End Loader for load out, following all established procedures and safety protocols.
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently, contributing to our overall production output.
• Observing and learning from experienced operators to continuously improve your skills.

Ticketing and Documentation

• Accurately completing tickets with customer name, job name, material, pick-up number, and tonnage.
• Submitting completed tickets to corporate at the end of each day.

Plant Maintenance and Support (Basic Tasks and Support)

• Assisting with basic plant maintenance tasks under guidance, such as lubricating equipment, cleaning components, or performing basic inspections.
• Contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the plant area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or potential maintenance issues to the COO or mechanic.

Production Support and Improvement

• Working independently on routine equipment operation tasks, following established procedures and production schedules.
• Collaborating with other operators to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient equipment utilization.

Safety Procedures and Training

• Strictly adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and working around the plant.
• Participating in additional safety training programs to stay up-to-date on quarry safety regulations and best practices.
• Serving as a positive safety role model.

Communication and Learning

• Maintaining clear communication with the COO regarding task progress, any equipment issues, and production updates.
• Actively seeking opportunities to learn from experienced operators and supervisors.

Additional Responsibilities

• May perform general labor tasks around the quarry as instructed.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to take on new challenges.
