Elite Dance Academy is a dance studio in Broomfield, CO, and we are looking for an experiencedHigh School Competitive Dance Teacherto join our competitive program team.
We are seeking a professional dance educator who not only teaches strong technique, but also understands thevalue and experience of the high school dance team world— where programs may emphasize pom, jazz, hip hop, or performance-based styles depending on the school. This role supports dancers who are balancing studio training with school team opportunities and competitive goals.

What You’ll Do
Teach and train high school competitive dancers with a focus on technique, performance quality, and competitive readiness
Prepare dancers for both studio competitions and high school dance team environments
Choreograph and clean routines across multiple styles
Share industry experience and knowledge in dance in a way that inspires and motivates students
Maintain engaging, energetic classrooms that keep dancers challenged and excited
Communicate clearly with leadership and meet deadlines consistently
Support performances, competitions, rehearsals, and required weekend commitments
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a dance teacher
3+ years of experience in a team leadership role (competitive teams, school teams, or studio programs)
Experience teaching in a dance studio environment
Strong understanding of competitive dance and high school dance team programs, including style differences by school
Up-to-date knowledge of current technique and terminology
Strong choreography skills across styles such as pom, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and acro
Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
Ability to follow direction, stay organized, and work within established systems
Availability on most weekends, including a commitment to teaching all Sundays
Schedule flexibility to meet team needs, events, and competitions
