If you are an educator driven by mission and looking to make a tangible difference, this is your opportunity.

Your Impact: The Role

We are seeking passionate and innovative High School Teachers to deliver transformative English Language Development (ELD) instruction within our unique adult program (grades 9-12). You will be the key to helping motivated multilingual learners achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.

We welcome applications from dedicated full-time teachers, part-time specialists, and retired educators eager to share their expertise in a flexible, supportive environment.

Choose a Schedule That Works for You:

  • Full-Time (Exempt): 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Part-Time (Nonexempt): We offer a variety of shifts, including 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, and 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

What You'll Do

  • Design & Deliver: Craft and facilitate rigorous, standards-aligned ELD lessons that build true proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Inspire Engagement: Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom culture that fosters critical thinking, academic confidence, and a love for learning.
  • Empower Every Student: Provide differentiated instruction and social-emotional support to meet the diverse needs of your learners.
  • Collaborate & Grow: Work alongside a dedicated team, participate in meaningful professional development, and contribute to our school's vibrant community.
  • Build Partnerships: Maintain clear, consistent communication with students, staff, and families to champion student success.

You Must Have:

  • A valid California Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential with EL/CLAD or BCLAD Authorization.
  • Two current letters of recommendation.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Are:

  • Experienced & Skilled: You have experience working with high school and/or adult learners and are bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • A Culturally Responsive Educator: You excel in classroom management and use culturally sustaining practices to connect with students.
  • Mission-Driven & Resilient: You possess a "no-excuses" attitude, deep compassion, and a relentless belief in every student's potential.
  • A Collaborative Innovator: You are data-informed, reflective in your practice, and constantly seek new ways to grow and improve.
  • A Community Builder: You are passionate about creating an extraordinary classroom environment and value the role of family engagement.

Why You'll Love Teaching Here
