PCA - Personal Care Aide/ Personal Care Assistant

This unique opportunity will advance your career and provide you with an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Key responsibilities include

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, toileting, assistance with incontinence issues
• Respond to all client needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Complete all forms and documentation such as incident reports, timesheets, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner
• Prepare healthy meals in accordance with client dietary needs
• Perform housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Must possess PCA Certification - We are able to provide you free PCA training (typically costs $300-$400)
• Driver’s License / Identification Card & Social Security Card
• Able to pass mandatory State of Virginia Background Check
