Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations and ensure regulatory compliance. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of patient care and supporting our team of CNAs and PCAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of caregiving staff.
- Conduct client assessments and home visits as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Train and onboard new caregivers on clinical procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience,
- Strong knowledge of home care standards and regulatory compliance
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and part-time (to be discussed, per week)
