Home Care Aide / Caregiver

Job description

As a Caregiver with ameriCARE Beach Cities, you will handle:
• Personal care (bathing, dressing, linen change, toileting, etc.)
• Meal preparation

• Ambulation and transfer
• Companionship

• Shopping
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping

You will follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed. You will work one-on-one with your clients in order to build relationships.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older


• Licensed HCA (California Home Care Aide)


• Have regular access to an insured vehicle to get to and from client locations (and potentially drive clients)


• Driver’s license


• Able to demonstrate prior caregiving experience


• Negative TB test, or chest x-ray


• Eligible to work in the United States (and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire)
