At Interim HealthCare, giving isn't just a job- it's a calling. As a Cerified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA), your compassion can make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with health challenges all from the comfort of their own homes. 

Job type is PRN and part time----PRN, meaning you will work only as needed. Your schedule will depend on the cases we have available and the hours required for each case. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct in-home care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease 


• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake


• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation


• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises


• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes


• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed


• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment


• Perform other CNA/PCA duties as assigned, in accordance with the care plan and supervision guidelines

Caregiver Qualifications: 

• CNA, PCA, certification or prior caregiver experience


• At least 6 months of previous experience in home health or long-term care setting preferred


• Current CPR certification 


• Negative TB test (within past 12 months) 


• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation


• Able to submit weekly care logs/time sheets to our Augusta office


• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.


• Compassionate nature, dependable, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
