Caregiver responsibilities include:

Providing companionship and conversation

Preparing and serving meals

Help with bathing and grooming

Light housekeeping and laundry

Shopping, errands, and transportation

Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification (required)

Previous caregiving experience (preferred)

A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others

A commitment to being present and providing quality care

Empathy, patience, kindness and respect

Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written

Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job

Location:

This position will serve clients in the Midlothian / Chesterfield County area

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

FirstLight hires Caregivers, Home Health Aides, CNAs, Care Coordinators, Companion Care and Personal Care Assistants who have a genuine desire to enrich the lives of others and help them have their best day, every day. Our professional caregivers provide safety, comfort and companionship for adults who need support. But we do more than make a meal or help with mobility.
