Job Summary:

Always Best Care Senior Services, a national leader in senior care services, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Home Health Aide - multiple positions, to join our team. This individual would work weekends on a part-time basis, providing essential in-home care to our elderly clients in Hudson/ New Port Richey, FL. As a Home Health Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and help them live comfortably in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare industry, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards seniors.

Compensation:

This is a part-time position, with a competitive salary of $17 to $18 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care to seniors such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Accompany seniors to appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors.

Requirements:

- Valid Home Health Aide certification or nursing assistant license - preferred. 
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare or caregiving role.

- Must have current Level 2 criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transferring and positioning clients.
