Hospitality Aide

Description

• Hours: 4-8pm
• Up to 24 hours/2 weeks
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Hospitality Aide responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists nursing staff in providing non-nursing care and services to residents.
• Performs personal housekeeping duties including bedmaking, tidying rooms, closets and bedside cabinets. Wipes overbed tables and family room tables following meals. Tidies common areas including family rooms, nourishment kitchen and solarium.
• Assists with spill clean-up in nourishment, utility and bathing areas.
• Transports residents to and from appointments and meals.
• Collects, refills and distributes water bottles.
• Assists in the dining room.

Requirements

Hospitality Aide Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience working with the aging population is preferred.
• Possesses the ability and maturity to interact and communicate appropriately with the aging population.
