Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a warm, welcoming start to their dining experience
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and respond to guest questions
• Manage the wait list and strategically seat guests to minimize wait times, keep tables full, and balance server sections
• Communicate with servers and the kitchen to maintain smooth service
• Assist servers when needed — clearing tables, resetting, and refilling water

Food Runner Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
• Be the link between Front of House and Back of House teams
• Double-check plates for accuracy, special requests, allergies, and presentation standards
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting, and refilling water glasses
• Relay guest requests to servers when needed
• Gather guest feedback and communicate with the team

• Availability for various shifts, including weekends
• Experience as a host or food runner welcome, but not required
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability to carry plates and stand for long hours
• Strong multi-tasking & communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
