Our family includes Mom, Dad, our 13-year-old daughter, and our 9-year-old son. As working university professors, reliability and adaptability are extremely important to us. Our children enjoy strategic games like chess, art, Lego, crochet, skiing, competitive climbing, and curling. We value an active lifestyle and spend our free time hiking, traveling in the summer, and attending Mariners games.

You’re comfortable driving children to activities, ensuring household tasks are completed, and keeping kids on track with their responsibilities. You are active and mobile, able to keep up with busy children, and you bring a friendly, easygoing personality that meshes well with our relaxed household.
Job Duties: Your primary responsibility will be picking up the children from school and transporting them to their various activities, using your own reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed at the federal rate). Once home, you’ll help ensure homework is completed and oversee the children’s daily chores, which include keeping their rooms tidy, putting away laundry, and unloading or loading the dishwasher. Light household tasks such as family laundry, doing the dishes, sweeping, and wiping kitchen counters are also part of the role. When the day’s responsibilities are complete, you’ll spend time engaging the kids in board games, arts and crafts, or outdoor play. No cooking, grocery shopping, or deep cleaning is required.
