VI Resorts by Westgate in Newport is hiring a Permanent Part-Time Housekeeper!

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Housekeeper for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will:

• Be available for a consistent 5-day schedule (20–25 hours per week)

• Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed

As a Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our resort rooms and common areas. You’ll play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience for our owners and guests.

Your key duties include:

• Remove debris and trash from guest rooms and common spaces.
• Change, inventory, and transport linens between rooms and laundry facilities.
• Clean all floor surfaces — vacuum, mop, sweep, and steam clean as needed.
• Dust and clean surfaces including furniture, mirrors, artwork, doors, and windows.\
• Sanitize and refresh bathrooms: toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, and floors.
• Clean kitchens — surfaces, appliances, and refrigerators; load dishwashers as needed.
• Restock guest supplies to management standards.\
• Report maintenance needs, lost and found items, and inventory changes promptly.
• Keep housekeeping closets and storage areas neat and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas like lobbies, hallways, and guest laundry rooms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license
