Housekeeper Inspector / Room Attendant

Are you a detail-oriented, energetic individual looking for a part-time opportunity with a clear path for growth? Sojourn Suites Portland Airport is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Hybrid to join our team for a three-day work week!

This unique position offers a blend of responsibilities: you will focus on inspecting guest rooms two days a week and actively cleaning rooms for one to two days a week, ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Current shifts are Thursday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pro Tip: Basic Spanish proficiency is a huge plus for effective team communication and collaboration!

  Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards and keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum

  Inspects assigned units each day, ensuring that all standards are met and corrective action is taken by attendants as required.

  Inspect VIP rooms daily.
  
  


• 
  
  Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and  other work areas
  
  


• 
  
  Strip linens from guest rooms
  
  


• 
  
  Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals
  
  


• 
  
  Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
  
  


• 
  
  Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
  
  


• 
  
  Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner

  High school diploma or GED preferred
  
  


• 
  
  Previous housekeeping experience preferred
