Position Summary: The Night Time Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards during the evening hours. This position involves providing stayover service for guests, cleaning rooms after potential room moves, and managing laundry duties, including organizing laundry units during downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide room calls for stayover service, ensuring rooms are refreshed with fresh linens, towels, and necessary amenities.
• Clean and prepare rooms after guest room moves, ensuring they are spotless and ready for new guests or continued stays.
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels during shift downtime.
• Organize and maintain laundry storage units, ensuring all supplies are neatly stocked and easily accessible.
• Ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned, including changing linens, dusting furniture, and restocking bathroom supplies.
• Vacuum carpets and floors, clean closets, and check for maintenance issues that need attention.
• Ensure all guest requests and inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.
• Report any issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area and other assigned spaces.
• Work efficiently and independently while maintaining a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
• Perform other tasks as required to support team operations and ensure the overall success of nightly housekeeping duties.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry roles is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management skills to complete all duties within the shift’s timeframe.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A secondary school diploma is preferred
• Previous hotel-related experience desired
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products a plus
• Professional attitude is required
