Housekeeper - Part Time

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented, part-time Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring a high standard of sanitation and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where attention to detail, trustworthiness, and time management are highly valued. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for clients and guests alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces


• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed


• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas


• Empty garbage containers in all assigned areas and replace them with new trash bags


• Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order


• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe work environment


• Immediately report any complaints or areas of concern to management


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to commute to Brooklyn location


• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping is preferred


• Knowledge of cleaning products and proper usage techniques to ensure effective sanitation


• To work quickly, thoroughly, and independently


• Ability to stand and remain on your feet for an entire shift
