Description

The overall purpose of the Housekeeping position is to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

  • Follows cleaning schedule as outlined for the housekeeping department. 
  • Ensure the facility maintains high standards of housekeeping excellence.
  • Participates directly in daily housekeeping and laundry functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
  • Minimum one (1) year job experience in housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, hospitality, or other similar work situation.
  • Committed to customer service.
  • Friendly, responsible, dependable, team oriented.
