Housekeeping Floor Tech

Description

The overall purpose of the Housekeeping Floor Tech position is maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow cleaning schedule as outlined for the housekeeping department.
• Ensure the facility maintains high standards of housekeeping excellence.
• Stripping, buffing, waxing floors, and carpet cleaning.
• Clean and mop front entrance including door and window
• Change curtains in resident rooms when deep cleaning is done and/or as needed
• Clean small dining room/TV room dust and mop 
• Take trash out in soiled utility room

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Minimum one (1) year job experience in housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, hospitality, or other similar work situation.
• Committed to customer service.
• Friendly, responsible, dependable, team oriented.
