The Rambler Hotel is looking to immediately hire qualified, enthusiastic, part-time Housepersons.  We are looking for world-class employees who go the extra mile and create the atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back time and time again.
 

Houseperson Position Requirements: 

• 
  
  Previous experience working in a janitorial / housekeeping position preferably in a hotel environment 


• Flexible scheduling availability to include working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 


• Ability to safely lift 30 lbs or more and carry it to another location 


• Positive attitude, respect of others and willingness to go above and beyond for our guests and fellow coworkers – We are a TEAM! 


• Ability to perform all position responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation and be able to bend, lift, stand and walk throughout the shift
  

General Position Responsibilities (this is a sampling and not a complete list of all expected duties):

 

• Ensure clean facilities throughout the hotel (including hallways and public areas) – details matter! 


• Stocking carts, servicing or replacing guest rooms with linens, towels, furnishings and other amenities upon request and / or in accordance with hotel procedures 


• Proper use and storage of supplies and tools
  


• Ensure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of guest rooms are met. 


• Report any and all maintenance issues to proper department or supervisor 


• Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers’ concerns and requests with a positive attitude.


• Notify supervisor if any items are in low inventory


• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.


• Ensures the proper maintenance of all departed related equipment


• Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, General Manager. 


• Communicating effectively with guests and team members verbally or in writing

Part time / variable hours - Pay: $16.00 per hour
