Job Description - Infant and Toddler Child Care Teacher

As an Infant/Toddler Resource Teacher at our Rochester, MI campus, you will provide support and coverage to teachers during the afternoon to allow them the opportunity to use their planning time effectively, take breaks and get a meal so our classrooms stay in ratio.

You will engage with parents as they come to pick up their children at the end of the day and work with colleagues on campus closing procedures. The successful candidate is flexible, patient and handles change with ease.

Position Detail:
Location: Rochester, Michigan
Status: Regular, Part-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1pm-6pm
Pay Range: $13-$16/hour

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age (required)
Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire)
Previous experience in a childcare setting or private nanny (preferred)

Some essential functions of the Infant/Toddler Resource teacher are…

Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often.
Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
Support lead and assistant teacher
Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
