Job Description - Infant-Toddler Child Care Teacher

Job Location: Rochester, Michigan
Job Type: Part-time
Shift: Days, 1p-6p
Schedule: Monday – Friday

As an Infant/Toddler Resource Teacher at our Rochester, MI campus, you will provide support and coverage to teachers so they can utilize their planning time effectively, as well as provide coverage during breaks and lunches.

The successful candidate is flexible, patient and handles change with ease. Our Rochester classrooms are open and airy with natural light, and other team members are in close proximity to provide ongoing support.

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age (required)
Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire)
Previous experience in a childcare setting or private nanny (preferred)

Salary Range: $13-$16/hour

Some essential functions of the Infant/Toddler Resource teacher are…

Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often.
Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
Support lead and assistant teacher
Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
