In-home- Caregiver

Job Summary:

Village Caregiving, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an In-home Caregiver. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical job located in the city of Scottsville. As an In-home Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and errand running
- Assist with mobility and transferring as needed
- Engage in conversation and activities to promote social interaction and stimulation
- Document and report any changes in client's health or behavior
- Maintain open communication with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met
- Attend training and meetings as required

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must be willing to provide personal care, including bathing and toileting assistance
- Must have the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
