Caregiver – Flexible In-Home Care (Part-Time)

Serving Minneapolis West & South Metro (Eagan, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, St. Louis Park, Edina, Richfield & nearby areas)

At FirstLight Home Care of Minneapolis West & South Metro, our caregivers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to caregiving, we’ll provide training, support, and recognition every step of the way.

We’re hiring part-time caregivers who can work daytime hours and start immediately. 

Pay & Benefits

• $18–$20/hour starting pay (based on experience, certification & availability)


• CNA caregivers start at $20/hr

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible daytime shifts


• Every other weekend availability very important


• Holiday shifts as needed


• Overnight shifts available (optional)

What You’ll Do

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)


• Help with mobility & safe transfers


• Prepare meals & light housekeeping


• Provide medication reminders


• Offer transportation for errands & appointments


• Give companionship & emotional support

Requirements

• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license & auto insurance


• Reliable cell phone


• Weekend availability (every other)


• Able to complete onboarding, TB screening & training


• Compassion, patience & strong communication skills
