Innovation Lab & Partner Engagement Specialist - Part time on call (Job 1090)

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic professional to support the daily operations of our Orlando Innovation Lab and act as a liaison to external partners and prospective collaborators. This individual will play a key role in promoting the lab's capabilities, learning and showcasing emerging technologies, and coordinating partner engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, tech-savvy, and enthusiastic about innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Showcase Innovation Lab Capabilities:
  Conduct engaging demonstrations and guided tours of the Innovation Lab for external visitors, potential partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.


• Product Knowledge & Marketing Support:
  Learn and maintain an understanding of the lab’s tools, technologies, and service offerings to effectively promote capabilities to prospective collaborators and clients.


• Partner Engagement & Support:
  Assist with scheduling and preparing for external partner visits, meetings, and presentations; ensure a high-quality experience for all visitors.


• Operational & Administrative Support:
  Support daily operations of the Innovation Lab and Orlando office, including ordering supplies, coordinating events, maintaining lab readiness, and assisting with logistics.


• Communication & Branding:
  Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to prepare presentation materials, fact sheets, and promotional content related to lab capabilities.


• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  May work with internal stakeholders across departments to keep messaging and demonstrations aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field – or equivalent work experience.


• 2+ years of experience in client engagement, marketing, administrative support, or technology demonstration roles.


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak confidently to a wide range of stakeholders, from executives to technical teams.


• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems, platforms, and innovative tools.


• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; experience coordinating events or managing logistics is a plus.


• Professional demeanor and a collaborative, customer-service-oriented approach.


• Experience supporting innovation labs, R&D environments, or technology showcases is a plus, but not required.
