In-Person SAT/ACT Tutor

Looking for tutors who are capable in both math and verbal sections for SAT/ACT prep and available a minimum of 10 hours a week to conduct in-person private sessions at students' homes throughout Bergen and Passaic counties. If you are only interested in virtual lessons, please do not apply.

The Opportunity

BrainStorm Tutoring is seeking dynamic and articulate individuals to join our high-caliber corps of academic mentors. This is a unique opportunity to join a community of passionate teachers and to contribute to the education of local youth.

• Work with students in a one-to-one setting


• Flexible schedule

• Minimum of 6 hours a week, highly flexible, at your discretion


• We work with most of our clients in the 2-9pm window on weekdays and anytime on weekends.

• Rate depends on credentials/experience: $32 - $50 per hour

The Requirements

• Ability to pass at least 2 of our subject tests to begin (i.e. HS math & SAT/ACT)
