Inspector - First Shift

Inspection Job Duties Include:

• Performs first piece, in process, and final dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and components
• Performs receiving inspection activities associated with purchased parts, components, material, and services
• Performs Commercial Dedication inspections
• Records inspection results
• Documents non-conformance to drawing or specification requirements

Qualifications to be a Conval Inspector:

• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Knowledge database software or manufacturing software preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Prior experience using gauges such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands
• Previous inspection experience is required
• Experience operating a CMM preferred
• Experience with NDT Penetrant Testing is a plus
